BEST Test (English Proficiency Test for University Students) Registration Now Open!
The Ministry of Education (MOE) launched the "Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College" (BEST Program) in 2021. This initiative aims to establish a bilingual teaching and learning environment, enhance university students' English proficiency, and promote English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) to boost the international competitiveness of Taiwan's higher education.
To foster a positive cycle between English teaching, learning, and assessment, the MOE has subsidized the Language Training & Testing Center (LTTC) to develop and administer the "BEST Test" (培力英檢). This test aligns with clear language proficiency standards to help track student progress and understand the correlation between coursework and assessment.
