本講座將透過一位長期在日本生活與工作的美國人的視角，以自身經驗為例，帶領學生重新認識日本社會。探討在學校、職場與公共生活等日常互動中，文化差異如何同時帶來啟發與困惑。

本講座歡迎對日本、國際事務或全球職涯有興趣的學生，期望能引導學生培養批判思考、文化同理心，以及對不同觀點更深一層的理解。

Invites students to explore Japan through the eyes of an American who has lived and worked there. This lecture examines how everyday interactions—at school, in the workplace, and in public life—can lead to both insight and confusion when cultures meet.

Drawing on real-life experiences, the speaker highlights common assumptions, cultural blind spots, and moments of misunderstanding and offers practical strategies for effective cross-cultural communication.

Ideal for students interested in Japan, international studies, or global careers, this talk encourages critical thinking, cultural empathy, and a deeper appreciation of perspectives beyond one's own.
